Tegan and Ineen went to the Wave Pools in Papakura on a rainy day to get out of the weather. They purchased hydroslide and swimming passes and went on the hydroslide multiple times, enjoying being splashed with water around corners despite not being able to see. They had fun going on the slide with their friends Connor and Jessica but eventually had to go home, concluding it was an awesome day.

- 1. My day at the Wave Pools It was a rainy winter's day when Tegan and I ran for shelter. We ran from the to the counter at the Papakura Wave Pools. Tegan and I both got a hydroslide pass as well as a swimming pass. Straight away, we walked over, put our bags down and took off our jumpers. Then nicely strolled to the hydroslide. You got such a rush when you went around the first corner because before you knew it you were engulfed in pitch black darkness. It was scary because you didn't know what was going to happen. But you saw some light and thought nothing else was going to happen you had a giant heap of water splashed at your face. But it was awesome, so awesome we had about 12 more goes when we bumped into Connor Linsely and Jessica Rouse. Connor, Tegan and I had a blast together. But sadly all good things must come to an end and I had to get back home. Overall it was an awesome day !
