- 2. What we learned Wiki Google Doc RSS Feed Delicious Fireworks 30 second Ad.
- 3. Creating a Wiki We had to create a Wiki page (online encyclopaedia) on a famous person in a group. We worked in MY WIKI in our CLC. - 4. Google Doc Website that includes: Document, Spread Sheet, PowerPoint and Form. It is very useful because you are able to share the document with as many people as you like. You can all access to one document and edit at the same time. - 5. RSS Feed It is a better way to access to most updated sites of your choice (e.g. BBC or Google News). How to get the RSS Feed; Go to the website of your choice Click on the RSS icon Get the URL and make hyperlink on your website
- 6. Delicious It is a site for online bookmarking. You can store your favorite sites so that you can access anywhere very easily. You can also add networks and view each other’s favorite websites. (You have to have an account to save websites)
- 7. Fireworks Fireworks is a software where you can edit pictures and create banners. You have a choice of editing a picture that you already own and import in on Fireworks or you can start from scratch and create an original piece of graphical art. In our ICT lessons, we have done three different projects.
- 8. Remastering the Masters Blue Project I did the Personal Homepage Promote. We had to make a page where we had to include pictures that represents yourself. During this project I learned further more about masking in Fireworks. it was very easy once I got the hand of it. Also adding effects on images and making it transparent. I learned how to mask by watching the video on the Atomic Learning website.
- 9. Remastering the Masters Pink Project I did the self portrait in my Pink Project. My job was to collect a picture of myself only and create a portrait of me. I used the skill masking and making transparent alike the previous Blue Project. I learned these technique by asking my friend and watching the video. I learnt more about collecting images and I learned that collecting images from Facebook isnt a good idea because it gets into bad quality image.
- 10. Remastering the Masters Yellow Project I did the School Homepage Banner. We had to make the banner form few frames where we had to calculate the speed for each frame. My main skill was to convert the .png into .gif. I learned this technique by going on Atomic Learning and watching the video appropriate. Apology: due to technical problem, the banner isn't possible to play.
- 11. 30 second Ad We made a 30 second advertisement of our choice with a partner using the software; Audacity. We had to record our voices and then edit, add music effect, etc... Make our ad exactly 30 second. Then we had to upload as MP3 player. My partner and I did an advertisement to Winter Choco Pocky and collected royalty free music download page.
