Sierra conducted an experiment to see how different liquids affected viola plants when used for watering. Plant A was watered with regular water, Plant B with sugar water, Plant C with apple juice, and Plant D with orange juice. Over 10 days, Plant A grown normally while Plants B, C, and D declined, with Plant C becoming totally dead. Sierra's hypothesis that Plant B would grow best was incorrect, but the experiment showed plants do not survive well when watered with liquids containing glucose.
