The BDPA National Mobile App Showcase is a competition that allows student developers to create and showcase functional mobile applications across three categories: business, personal productivity, and gaming. Participants must be BDPA student members with programming experience and meet specific requirements, including regular attendance at training sessions and access to the necessary technology. The program includes mentorship, virtual training, and culminates in a public showcase and awards ceremony.

- 2. Program Overview The BDPA National Mobile App Showcase allows student application developers the opportunity to participate in a competition that allows them to an opportunity to test their talents against others and develop a working, functional mobile application. The applications being showcased will represent three different application categories (i.e. business, personal productivity, and gaming). Each category will have requirements to be met in order to advance to the showcase.

Program Requirements Must be a BDPA Student Member Must have Object Oriented Programming and IDE experience Participant must attend high school or college (undergrad >=25) Must have reliable Internet access & access to a computer/laptop to complete setup and assignments (iOS - Mac computer required) Must have access to a reliable voice communication (internet/cell/landline) Must be able to work independently Each participant is sponsored by their “home” chapter All assignments must be completed in order to be eligible to be selected as a finalist in the showcase At least 75% participation in weekly training session is expected

- 7. Other Program Details Each student will be assigned to a mentor and meet with him/her regularly. The training sessions are conducted virtually; the student’s location is rarely a factor in participation. Participants formulate their own app ideas
