NEA Script
- 1. Life After INT. LIVING ROOM – EARLY EVENING KAI (17) and NELLY (16) sitting on a sofa in a living room. TV on. Phone on coffee table. *Phone Rings* KAI gets up and picks up phone. KAI Hey, Mum what's up? *Inaudible dialogue* KAI I’m just at NELLY’s why? *Inaudible dialogue* KAI Wait what? NELLY What's wrong? Phone falls from KAI’s hand drops and bounces on the ground NELLY KAI what’s happened? KAI? (Fading into background) EXT. TUNNEL AREA REIGATE – DAY TIME Memorial for ROSA (16) at the scene of her death. Shop bought flowers, cards, balloons and a teddy bear. Slight breeze. ROSA in a voice over. ROSA The news shocked our little town. A death caused by one of its residents. I was loved or that was how it appeared to most people. Then KAI stands in front of the memorial looking down NELLY joins him, and they look for a moment. The camera pans out showing a dark hooded figure watching from a distance. EXT. TUNNEL AREA REIGATE – EARLY EVENING
- 2. A HOODED FIGURE running down the tunnel away from ROSA on the ground gasping. A series of shots of her foot, hand, hair then face. Then an aerial shot of her gasping for her last breathes clutching her bloody stomach. In a voice over. ROSA But as my life ended this story was just beginning.
