We must step up in Math and Science to even compete .
We have the shortest school day, yet we wonder why we are not ahead of our neighbors.
“Japanese society places a heavy emphasis on the schools students attend; therefore, there is high competition to attend prestigious schools. As a result, most young students attend juku (cram school) in the afternoons, evenings, Saturdays, and holiday to prepare for the entrance exams.” eMintsNationalCenter
“ Extending time in school would in fact likely raise student achievement.” EDUCATION next
Maybe less testing more learning!

“ Our nation’s security and economic competitiveness will be enhanced if our citizens have a broad global understanding.” Graham Spanier
The level of one’s education will have a significant impact on their quality of life.
“ If you go to college you get K-nowledge , which gives you greater P-otential which leads to more J-ob opportunities, which in turn, gives you more M-oney .” by Nick Anis
