Neuralink presents a high-bandwidth brain-machine interface (BMI) capable of supporting up to 3,072 electrodes through flexible, minimally invasive polymer probes and a robust neurosurgical robot that inserts these probes at a high speed. The custom electronics are designed for low power consumption and maintain data transmission efficiency, thus facilitating real-time neural recording. This system marks a significant advancement toward scalable and clinically applicable BMIs, enhancing the potential for treating neurological disorders and improving human-machine interactions.
