We define this as being the willingness to help, show concern for and be friendly to others. This week the children and I discussed in assembly what being a good friend means to us and how we can be a help to others when they may need us. We also discussed there are consequences for being unkind. <br />ERO Review<br />During week three of this year, we played host to the Education Review Office. Our report has been finalized and we are proud to share the outcomes of the report with you. School wide data analysisWe have included the community summary report that you are welcome to share with friends and family about our great community school. <br />Wairau Cluster Extension Day – Music<br />Congratulations to Johnno Cuddon-Corlett, Tom Driffill and Bethan Grant for being selected for the Wairau Cluster Extension day to be held here at Spring Creek School on the 21st May. <br />5855335308610<br />Pine Cones<br />Thank you to Warren , Chris & Michelle ,Campbell , Dallas & Bruce & Peter for your help organizing the pick up and storage of our pine cones for fundraising. <br />By the way, bags are $6 each or $20 for 4 bags. The numbers are quoted as <br />1 – 4 children suffer, which is huge!<br />We are going to have a RED day and the children can wear Mufti, even RED, and make a gold coin donation. We are having several fun activities at school for this event. ( Attached Flyer):<br />Fair : PTA<br />Leah Bunker and the PTA fair team met in the second to last week of last term. Keep an eye out for upcoming fair meetings. We have sponsors coming forward already so if you know of someone or a business that can help us, please come along to the next PTA meeting at the Junction Hotel on the 2nd June, at 7pm. <br />Parent – Teacher – Student Conferences Term Two<br />-212725-291465Wednesday 5th May 2010<br />All student sample books are needed back for these conferences with feedback form completed as they form the basis of discussion. <br />School will finish for all pupils at 12:30pm on the 5th. If your child is a bus pupil, please make alternate arrangements for transport that afternoon as all staff will be involved in interviews.<br />Your interview time will be 20 minutes. We will be running on a very tight schedule, so please let us know if you are running late. <br />Thankyou.<br />TISSUES<br />It is that time of the year when we need these in our classrooms.
