Kailash Katkar is an Indian entrepreneur who founded Quick Heal Technologies. He grew up in a small village in Maharashtra and started his career repairing calculators and office equipment. In the early 1990s, he started his own calculator repair shop. He taught himself about computers and in 1993 started a new IT services company called CAT Computer Services. His brother Sanjay helped develop early antivirus software, which became their main product. Over time, Quick Heal expanded into security solutions for computers, mobile devices, and networks. It has become a leading Indian cybersecurity company with international offices. Katkar has received several awards for his achievements as a first-generation entrepreneur and for Quick Heal's innovation and success.
