- 1. National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) It conducts NIFT entrance exam in order to shortlist aspirants for admission in design programmes offered by it. Considered to be a pioneer in fashion education, NIFT has its headquarters in New Delhi. To get admission into Bachelor of Design (BDes), Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech), Master of Design (MDes), Master of Fashion Management (MFM) and Master of Fashion Technology (MFTech) courses at NIFT, candidates need to appear for NIFT Entrance Test. The institute also gives candidates a chance to apply for two programmes in a given year which candidates can give as per their own convenience and need. Candidates can also secure admission directly in second year of BDes and BFTech programmes offered at NIFT campuses. For this, candidates need to appear for a written test that is conducted for NIFT Lateral Entry Admissions (NLEA).

- 14. Duration and Contents 1. The duration of the Programme is two years with two semesters (monsoon and winter) each year. The Courses are divided into two segments: (i) Classroom Courses (ii) Dissertation 2. Classroom Courses are designed to help students in understanding the concepts and techniques of economic theories and their application 3. Courses provide a good mix of theoretical and empirical knowledge to equip students both fundamental knowledge along with their application in real life.
- 15. 4. Evaluation mechanism are designed through mid-term test, term-paper writing, class projects, etc. along with end-term examination for a holistic learning. 5. A Dissertation Project on any area of International Trade and Finance to be undertaken by a student on a topic approved by the Institute under the guidance of a faculty member of IIFT. Expenses incurred, if any, on the assignment shall be borne entirely by the student and the Institute shall have no financial responsibility in this respect. TWO-YEAR MBA (INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS) - FULL TIME SCOPE

The MBA (International Business) is a foundational course for developing a competent cadre of business executives to meet the country’s growing requirements for training personnel in the field of international management. MBA (IB) is a six trimester general management programme with a focus on international business. The programme aims at providing a comprehensive coverage incorporating all the important areas and disciplines relevant to international business activities. Mode of Admission For General/SC/ST/PH/OBC candidates: • On the basis of Written test, Essay write-up, Group Discussionand Interview. • The Written Test is organised at Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, No age limit. Recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years’ duration in any discipline. Submission of final result within beginning of October

For Foreign National/NRI/Children of NRI: • On the basis of General Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) • For MBA 2018-20, GMAT result should not have been declared before 1 January, 2016 and should be received by the Institute latest by 31 March 2018. Last date to submit the application fee is 15th February 2018. Pattern of Admission Test The admission test is a multiple choice objective type written test (in English). Duration of the test is two hours. It consists of questions covering ENGLISH COMPREHENSION, GENERAL KNOWLEDGE & AWARENESS, LOGICAL REASONING AND QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS.
