INTRODUCTION
Grooming
Means neat and tidy appearance. Its an art of self presentation. Good
Grooming is commonly used to refer to a persons appearance. It is
made up of personal hygiene, tidy hair, appropriate dressing and
includes your looks, body language, communication skills, manners
etc.
Types of grooming
 Physical: This is all about skin, hair and personal hygiene.
 Metaphysical: This is all about personality, body language and
manners.
Attributes Required For Cabin Crew
 Professional attitude and friendly.
 Good communication skills :- Fluency in what you speak,
accent, language and voice clarity
 Good memory or ability to remember your checklist and
safety procedures.
 ‘Ability to remain calm and take change of situation .
 Patient and Diplomatic.
 Charming and High sense of grooming.
 Time management .
 Confidence: one thing that helps you always.
 Good listener.
 Health maintenance.
 Presentation skills.
 Love towards service (human).
Techniques For Skin Care
Skin is one of the visible outer part of human body, which plays an important
role to defend our body by fighting against micro-organisms, bacteria, weather
conditions which may harm the body routine.
Three Layers Of Skin
 Epidermis :- Outer layer having no blood vessels and nerve endings.
 Dermis :- layer below the epidermis with elastic fibre elastic
 hypodermis :- layer below the dermis with fatty connective
tissue, with high H2O content .
There Are Five Types Of Skin
 Normal Skin
 Dry Skin
 Oily Skin
 Combination Skin
 Sensitive Skin
TYPES OF SKINS
1. DRY SKIN
• Dry skin is an
uncomfortable
condition marked by
scaling, itching, and
cracking. It can occur
for a variety of reasons.
2. OILY SKIN
• Oily skin is an
uncomfortable
condition marked by
scaling, itching, and
cracking. It leads to
white and black heads ,
pimples and so forth.
3.Normal skin
• Normal skin has no
even tone , soft and a
smooth texture. No
visible pores or
blemishes and no
greasy patches or flaky
areas but it needs care
if it is to last.
4. COMBINATION SKIN
• Combination skin is
when some parts of
your face is dry or flaky,
while the center part of
your face ,nose , chin
and forehead(called T-
ZONE) is oily
5. SENSITIVE SKIN
• The term is used to
describe the skin
condition of people
who easily break out in
rashes and get blotchy,
itchy, or stinging skin in
response to products or
the weather.
• Has no even tone , soft
and a smooth texture
• No visible pores or
blemishes , and no
greasy patches or flaky
areas.
• Normal skin is not to
dry and not dry
MAINTAIN CONDITION OF SKIN
• The skin requires cleaning twice a day with a
mild baby soap and water and toned with rose
water
• At night ,apply a thin film of moisturizer.
• Always use a mild ,oil-based moisturizer uder
make up.
• Also do CSTM(cleansing , scrubing ,toning ,
moisturizing) 2 times in a month.
Hair Care Regimen
Hair is actually a modified type of skin. Hair is formed at the base of a hair
follicle. Hair grows more quickly in summer than in winter and more slowat
night than in day.
 There are three types of hair:-
a) Dry hair
b) Oily hair
c) Normal hair
1.DRY HAIR
• Dry hair is hair that
does not have enough
moisture and oil.
• TYPES OF HAIR:
• Rough Hair
• Dull hair
• Brittle hair
• Frizzy hair
• Damaged hair
2. OILY HAIR
• Excess oil in the hair can
stem from issues in the
scalp or from beauty
habits.
• Issues may be corrected
at home with changes
in our hair care routine.
3.NORMAL HAIR
• Normal hair meaning
like not oily or to dry.
• Normal hair will appear
shiny but won’t feel
greasy.
• This types of heir is easy
to manage.
• Requires less attention.

• Weight = 60 kg. [ 132.277 pound ].
• BMI = NORMAL weight (21.5)
• I am in normal category according to body mass index(BMI)

• Swimming is an individual or team sport
that involves using arms and legs to
move the body through water. Typically,
the sport takes place in pools or in open-
water (e.g., in a sea or lake). Competitive
swimming is one of the most
popular Olympic sports , with events
in butterfly , backstroke , breaststroke ,
freestyle and individual medley.
IMPORTANCE OF SWIMMING
1. Swim lessons reduce the risk of drowning.
2. Swimming builds whole body strength.
3. Swimming is something they can do at any
age!

Conclusion
 In grooming session I have learnt various way of grooming.
