Library Innovation
• Library integration is becoming more
prevalent in online courses. All aspects of
learning are interdisciplinary, requiring a
broader knowledge of many different
disciplines.
•Libraries contribute to the learning process
by providing resources and assistance to help
students achieve success.

Model for Integrating Library Resources
into Course Development
• Librarians attend course development kickoff meetings
through conference calls
• Librarians were a part of the Course Development Team
•Conference calls give an orientation of library resources
to course developers/faculty.
• Librarians collaborate on planning of course content
• This process helps assist in the use of library resources
in online courses for easy student access to scholarly
materials.
