- 4. Summary Librarize is part of the ”School Management System” suite, a system created to modernize schools administrative tools. Librarize is a mobile app that converts your smart phone into a librarian. This app would make agile the library procedure when talking about issuing, returning and searching for school books.
- 5. Prototype: presentation Presents the introduction screen. Names the company (One Blue cloud) and the product app (Librarize).
- 6. Prototype: login User login screen: request username and password for registered users. User id would be provided by OBC management system and requested at school administration.
- 7. Prototype: main menu Main functionalities: Issue a book Renew a book issued before. Reserve a book Search for a book. View book status. Help topics. Exit the app.
- 8. Books can be issued by student id or book id. Each book should have a QR code. When issuing a book by book id, the student can use the QR scanner of the smartphone and automatically fill the box. Prototype: Issue a book
- 9. Prototype: renew a book With book id the system validates the status of a certain book. When clicking ”Renew Book” button, if the book isn't reserved, another loan period would be granted.
- 10. Prototype: Return a book Just write or scan the book id, return the book to the returning place in the library and click ”Return Book”. The book status, if it isn't reserved would change to ”available”.
- 12. Prototype: search Search functionallity allows the student to view books status by id, title, student id or student name. In the case of a unique book id search, only one book is displayed. Information about status is shown. If loaned, return date is displayed.
