The auction is how we obtain the vast majority of the scholarship money we award to deserving women in our community, who are working on their education and career paths; it is also one of the ways YOU PERSONALLY CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! If you haven’t had the opportunity to solicit donations, please make time in the next week to work on obtaining items (need forms turned in by Thursday, October 4). Remember, large and small items are appreciated – we need a variety of both for the silent and live auction. (Because our corporation’s firewall treats many email addresses as spam, it would be best if you would fax (435.716.2324) your form to me rather than by email.) - 5. WIB SPOTLIGHT Christina Roberts Christina Roberts has been with the Logan Regional Hospital Foundation since 2009, and serves as the organization’s development coordinator. She works with Foundation leaders to assist in fundraising activities and helps to strengthen the organization’s relationships with the community and businesses. Christina grew up in Arlington, Massachusetts, and came to the west in 1998 to continue her education. She has a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in public administration with an emphasis in non-profit organization. Prior to working with the Foundation, Christina also served as the development officer for Planned Parenthood Association of Utah in Salt Lake City, and as the community coordinator for the South Valley Sanctuary in West Jordan. Christina is serving on the Women in Business Board this year as the IT Specialist-Elect. We certainly appreciate her expertise.
