1. Partnership Program
The Odoo ecosystem is designed to offer the best customer experience to Odoo users, from the product to
implementation services. In order to guarantee that, the Odoo Partner Program ensures that official partners
have the resources and knowledge required to offer Odoo implementation services.
The Odoo Official Partner label is dedicated to companies that offer quality services on Odoo.
From a customer point of view, working with an official partner guarantees that the partner:
1.1. Partners Commitment

● Become a Certified Odoo Partner
● Have dedicated resources assigned to Odoo projects
● Be available for periodic review meeting with Odoo SA Account Managers
● Be the first level of support for his Odoo customers and use Odoo SA for the second level of support
(mostly for bug fixes)
● Promote Odoo Enterprise to its customers
1.2. Benefits for a Partner

● The ability to report bugs to be fixed by Odoo on behalf of his customer (Enterprise contracts only)

● Yearly upgrade training sessions when a new version is released
● Access to the Partners Portal
● Odoo sales training session
● Access to the Odoo Knowledge Base
● Access to odoo.sh (see conditions)
9
1.3. Partnership Level
Partners are ranked according to their level of experience on Odoo. Ready partners are new partners that have a
limited number of references. Silver partners have experience deploying Odoo and have a significant number of
implementations. Gold partners are amongst the top 15% most active partners in the Odoo eco-system.
Only new licenses and upsells (up to 9 months after the subscription starting date) are taken into consideration
at the partnership level upgrade. Renovations don’t count.
We suggest each partner control the number of licenses sold so as to match with the information your Account
Manager have in order to be considered for a Partnership level upgrade.
1.4. Enterprise Licenses for a Partner
Your Partnerships doesn’t come with any licenses for internal use. Contact your Account Manager if you’re
interested in buying Odoo Enterprise for internal use.
You don’t need internal licenses to develop or customize Odoo for your client
1.5. Starting the Partnership – First Steps

Manager, introducing your Account Manager and giving you your Partnership Subscription Number.
1.5.1. Your Account Manager for your Partnership

will have a commercial role and will not be able to provide technical support (see 9.6 Partner Success Pack).
1.5.2. Partnership Subscription Number
The Partnership Subscription number is your contract number. It can be used to register at odoo.sh (create a
new .sh project) and/or to register an Odoo Enterprise Database for Demo/Testing/Development
10
1.5.3. Onboarding
You’ll have the chance to define your business strategy and know your Account Manager in the Onboarding call.
1.5.4. Your Account Manager for your Odoo Licenses

assigned to a Customer Success Account Manager (note this is not a change on your Account Manager for the
Partnership).
1.6. Renewing your Partnership
Your Account Manager will send you a quotation to renew your Partnership about 1 month before it expires.
You can always ask your Account Manager for a quotation for renewing. The payment has to be made before
the Partnership expires.
2. Partners Portal
2.1. First Access

subscription code in this section, so the code will be free to be used to register another databse.
2.2.2. Your Leads

partner needs to reach out the client and, if moving along with the project, convert it into an
opportunity. (See 7.1 Leads)
12

3. Commissions & Discounts
3.1. Commissions
After closing an Odoo Enterprise sale, the Partner is eligible to receive a Commissions, depending on the
Partnership Level:
✓ Ready: 10%
✓ Silver: 15%
✓ Gold: 20%
3.1.1. Receiving the Commission
The commission can be paid in three ways:
✓ As a discount in the sales order final price
✓ After the sale, by a money order issued by Odoo
✓ Credit to be used in Odoo products (licenses, renovations…)
For the money order you’ll have to send a Purchase Order and an invoice to your account manager so he or she
can process the request.
3.2. Discounts / Multiyear Contract
There are no discounts on Odoo Licenses. However, depending on the number of licenses, your Account
Manager can analyze the possibility of giving a discount. To count the number of licenses, you also have to
multiply by the number of years. Example: 90 licenses for 2 years is considered 180 licenses for the purpose of
analyzing the discount and upgrading partnership level.
The Partner can choose to give its commission as a discount to a client. Ask your Account Manager when you
want the discount to reflect on the final quotation.
4. Website and Country Visibility
The partner can decide whether to list its company on the Odoo official website:
https://www.odoo.com/partners. Contact your Account Manager if you need any changes or updates.
4.1. Publishing a reference on the website
Contact your Account Manager and provide:
- Short Paragraph: about the project (which process and apps used are important)
- Logo: of the client’s company.
14
This is one of the requirements to become a GOLD partner
See section 19.5 to check how to access the database of all references
4.2. Extra visibility – Generating extra Leads
4.2.1. Visibility in an additional country
The partnership fee includes activities in one country. If you want to extend the agreement to different
countries, we charge $1,500* / year per extra country
Another company will be created in the system to potentially receive leads; however, everything is managed by
the main registered company. The new company will also appear in the corresponding country section in Odoo
website https://www.odoo.com/partners.
Contact your Account Manager to discuss the strategy regarding each company.
4.2.2. Partnership level in extra visibility
The sales are summed up to compute the total number of licenses in the last 12 months. When achieved the
number to upgrade to the next level, the partner decides in which country to apply the upgrade.
Example: 25 licenses in Chile and 80 Licenses in Peru. Total 105 licenses, which qualifies for GOLD (100). The
partner chooses where to have the Gold level. Additional 45 licenses would bring the other office to SILVER
(totaling 150; 100 for the gold and 50 for silver).
5. Odoo Tour - Marketing Together with Partners
Odoo Tours (formerly known as Roadshows) are events organized in a collaborative marketing effort between
Odoo and our partnership with the aim to attract quality leads.
Those are frequently the events with the best ROI as the majority of Tours generate several closed deals within
the following 5 months. The average event attracts between 60 and 150 companies, depending on several
factors such as the location of the event and its promotion. More than 80% of the total attendees are decision
makers. For More information refer to the Odoo Tour 11 brochure.
6. Communication Strategy with your Account Manager
6.1. Communication by Email
Official email: will appear on your profile, in Odoo Website Partnership Section, as the contact of your
company. Clients may try to reach your company by this email., This is the email in which you will potentially
receive leads from Odoo.
Communication email: the email in which your Account Manager will directly communicate with you and
send you Announcements.
Partner Maillist email: will be used to communicate with all other partners we have, to share information.
15
6.2. Calls and Meetings
When you receive an invite from your Account Manager, there will be a link to a google meet access.
Alternatively, you can use skype
Quick questions can be answered in Skype. Contact your Account Manager to decide the best communication
strategy.
7. Managing Leads
7.1. Leads
Lead: A potential client who shared contact details when downloading or contacting Odoo. Leads have low
visibility for your Account Manager. Lead is the stage before Opportunity.
After receiving a lead, the Partner can check the contact information and reach out the client. (See “Your leads”
at 2.2.2.)
a. Click on the lead to see the contact information
b. Contact the lead (email or phone, your strategy)
16
c. If you decided to move forward with that client/project, you have to convert it into an opportunity, by
clicking on “I’m Interested”
d. You should click on “I’m not interested” and the comment in three cases (it’s important to follow this
order, click first and then comment on the box that will appear):
i. the client doesn't show interest in Odoo (Delete)
ii. you don’t want/have skills for the project. Also, comment if the lead should be reassigned to
another partner (Reassign)
iii. The client wants Odoo Enterprise but doesn’t need support of a partner (Self Implementation)
Comments showed in parenthesis
7.1.1. Sending a Message/Calling a lead
Present yourself and your company stating that you are an Official Partner in the country. If you’re sending an
email, also provide your contact details and try to schedule a call. Ideally, you would call all leads.
7.1.2. Identifying good leads
Look for company names. Generally, it is more effective to reach out to people on those companies by calling
them since they don’t usually respond marketing emails.
7.1.3. Converting a lead into an Opportunity:
After the conversion, your Account Manager will have visibility of that new opportunity and will make follow-ups
to help you with the prospect.
7.2. Opportunities
Have high visibility for your Account Manager, are organized in different stages.
Territory: 1st
stage after converting from a lead. Some clients reach this stage directly without starting as a lead,
which means that our algorithms identified it as a potential sale from the beginning.
Qualified: stage in which your Account Manager already contacted and qualified the customer.
17
Qualified Sponsor: stage in which your Account Manager has contacted and qualified the customer, and
assigned a Partner or in which the Partner contacted and qualified the customer. It means the customer needs
customized solution/implementation or any support from a partner.
Proposition: A quotation is already generated and sent.
Negotiating: Negotiating prices and conditions.
Won: Client purchased licenses.
Lost: Client did no purchase/is not interested
7.3. Contacting the prospect client (opportunity)
Sometimes your Account Manager will directly receive an opportunity, which will also be under the partner's
name. The Account Manager will do the first contact with the client, and then pass it to the partner. Wait until
this process is complete before contacting the client. If the client does not respond the Account Manager, you
can try to contact
7.4. Managing Opportunities
Select an opportunity to manage
After clicking on an opportunity, you can change stages or other information.
7.4.1 Expected revenue
The expected revenue is the monthly (total purchase /12) revenue expected to be generated
18
7.5. Editing Opportunities
7.5.1. Scheduling events, making comments or marking as lost/won
Once inside one opportunity, click on “Edit opportunity” and in “Next Activity” select “To Do”. In details write
down information about the next event.
To mark as “lost”, you can comment “Delete” in “Details Next Activity”. You can add any extra information on
details. It would be visible for your Account Manager
19
7.6. Adding an opportunity in the system
Adding an opportunity in the system is important so your Account Manager can provide you with support. Also,
if the customer reaches Odoo directly, we’ll already know that he or she is working with a particular partner, so
we don’t assign another one.
Under “My opportunities” click on the (+) sign and input the information of the new opportunity
We suggest the following:
Title: Name of product - Name of Client - Name of Partner
Ex: OE - Andrey Venuto - Odoo Partner Name
7.7. Managing Opportunities and leads in a CRM other than Odoo’s
If you use your own CRM or just don’t want to use this system, define a communication/lead conversion
strategy with your Account Manager.
8. Making a Sale – Asking for a Quotation
All sales will be done in the name of the final client and all invoices will be generated on the client’s name. By
default you should always ask your Account Manager when you need a quotation, providing the following
information.
✓ Number of licenses (users)
✓ Monthly or Yearly (and number of years)
✓ Applications (which apps)
✓ Name of the final customer and a contact name (with email and phone number)
✓ To whom you want the quote to be sent (partner, customer or both)
✓ If you want the commission to be given as a discount or not
20
The partner/client can estimate directly from the website.
8.1. Generating the quotation directly from the website
a. Access www.odoo.com/pricing
b. Choose number of users and Applications (some Apps depends on other Apps to work correctly)
c. Contract type (Annually / Monthly)
d. Hosting Type (Cloud Hosting = SaaS / On-Premise = Enterprise / Dedicated = Odoo.sh). Make sure you
select your company as the Integrating partner
The cloud version has also the option to be payed monthly. There is no additional cost for the On-Premise but
the client needs to have a hosting server. The On-Premise version is more flexible, and it’s suited for projects
that needs customizations and developments (or localizations).
The dedicated Cloud is the Odoo.sh, only clients who wants to purchase Odoo.sh service directly from Odoo
should choose this option. If you, as a Partner, wants to offer Odoo.sh to your client, you’ll have to do it with the
intermediation of Odoo.
e. Choose your implementation Service
f. Click on buy now and continue the process
8.2. Quotation expiration date
After a quotation expires, you can check with your Account Manager whether it’s possible to extend the
deadline.
21
8.3. Payments
We accept:
✓ Credit Card
✓ Wire transfer
✓ Paypal
For a wire transfer payment, refer to the bottom of the sales order document (.pdf) for bank details.
Communicate with your Account Manager to check whether Odoo received the payment and send the receipt.
After the confirmation your Account Manager will start the subscription and generate the invoice.

What does the subscription include?
You get access to our scalable cloud infrastructure including hosting, incremental daily backups on two
continents, email integration, top-notch security, 24/7 monitoring and a control center to manage your Odoo
environment. Your Odoo instance is upgraded on demand to benefit from new features at your convenience.
You get access to our support by email or live chat in the application. Our support teams are available from
Monday to Friday, 24/5, in English and French.
How do you define a paying user?
A user is defined as an employee or a supplier who has or will have access to Odoo in creating and/or edit mode.
External users (such as clients or suppliers who are portal users) are not counted in the number of users. For
example:
✓ An employee who reports their expenses or timesheet is counted as a user;
✓ A third party accountant who uses Odoo to work on your numbers will be counted as a user;
✓ Customers and suppliers that have access to their invoices on-line will NOT be counted as users;
✓ Visitors to the Odoo website will NOT be counted as users.
What kind of support does the self-subscription (without a Success Pack) include?
We provide functional support and bug fixing services on standard features, 24/5, in English via email.
A dedicated consultant is available in our Success Packs only.
Why do some apps automatically require the selection of other apps?
Some Apps are built on top of others, meaning those Apps require their parent App to operate. For example,
eCommerce is dependent on the Website and Sales Apps. In order to activate eCommerce, you will also need to
install Sales and Website to inherit their parent functionalities.
Can I easily switch from a hosted plan (Odoo Online) to an on-premise plan (Odoo Enterprise) or the other
way around?
When using Odoo Online, you can download a backup of your database at any time through the control center.
You own your data!
Our cloud infrastructure runs on the latest version of Odoo with regular upgrades. On-premise users must use
the latest stable version of Odoo. If you would like to switch from Odoo Online to Odoo On-Premise, the best
time to make this change is immediately following the release of the newest stable version.
23
Odoo also provides a service to help you switch from Odoo On-premise to Odoo Online free of charge if your
local database uses the latest stable version. For more details or questions, please feel free to contact us.
How do I select the right implementation service Success Pack?
Fill in the above form and the page will offer you the best Success Pack according to your needs. According to
our experience with preceding projects, we recommend the right business pack so that 80% of our customers
can deploy Odoo successfully for the required scope with only one success pack.
The most common reasons a customer would buy an extra Success Pack for their initial implementation are data
import issues (due to unorganized merge data or abnormally large volume of data to import), unnecessary
customizations (resulting in longer lead times), or need additional training for employees prior to completion of
implementation.
Some customers may also elect to purchase an additional Success Pack after implementation because they want
to make their solution evolve over time as the company grows (support hours never expire).
Can I use my own domain name for my website?
Of course! Our support team is able to guide you during implementation in order to setup your domain using
Odoo based on how you plan to manage your emails using the same domain name.
What is the price of apps that are not listed on this page?
Some Apps in Odoo are offered free of charge such as Survey, Discuss, Notes, Chat, and Employees. Other Apps
are bundled with others such as Blog, Forum, Live Chat, and Slides within the Website App and will not appear
on this page.
I use the stand-alone offer for one free app, what happens when I download another app?
As soon as you install an additional app on your database, your account will transition into the Odoo Online
pricing. An estimate of your monthly pricing can be generated at www.odoo.com/pricing.
9.3. Official Modules (Apps) Pricing
Refer to the website for module prices: https://www.odoo.com/pricing
If the module doesn’t appear there, it means it comes together with the purchase of a linked module or is simply
free - it comes when purchasing only licenses.
9.4. Database is expiring
If you have a contract in progress but you see that the database is expiring earlier than when it should expire, it
means the contract have upsells – more users or more apps than originally purchased. To fix that you/the client
has to pay for the upsell quotation or delete the extra apps/users.
9.5. Odoo Community vs Odoo Enterprise
Refer to https://www.odoo.com/page/editions for the full comparison

All consultants have access to technical resources (developers or system administrators). They will put you in
contact with them if you need technical help.
9.6.3. Explaining the Pack
This service aims at helping our partners grow and transferring our knowledge to partners. The partner Success
Pack is the perfect service to get up-to-speed on Odoo. Your dedicated business analyst can help you with pre-
sales effort:
● Prepare customer demonstrations
● Coach your Odoo team and train you on new features
● Answer RFIs
and help you succeed your first implementation projects:
● Advice on critical decisions
25
● Provide functional and technical support
This service cannot be used to subcontract a project to Odoo. Our goal is to help our partners become
autonomous and be able to deliver future projects without our help.
9.6.4. Service Conditions
9.6.4.1. Help to answer RFI's or RFP's
● The RFI/RFP qualification request form needs to be filled in by the partner. This qualification request
includes a checklist on the overall feasibility (Is the partner in contact with the decision makers? Does the
partner can undertake the execution of RFP? Can he ensure a good realization of the project if accepted?...).
Odoo retains the right to refuse RFI/RFQ work in case of low success rate.
● The partner needs to inform Odoo about the RFI/RFP minimum 2 weeks before sending it through the
RFI/RFP qualification request form.
● Odoo has a minimum of 2 weeks upon RFI/RFP receipt, to provide the feedback/answer on the open RFI/RFP
questions to the partner.
9.6.4.2. Gap Analysis
Performed hand in hand with the partner (partner remains responsible for the project).
9.6.4.3. On-site or remote intervention
● Travel time is deducted from the Pack.
● Travel expenses are charged separately.

The Odoo Official Partner label is dedicated to companies that offer quality services on Odoo. From a customer point of view, working with an official partner guarantees that the partner: 1.1. • 9. 9 1.3. Partnership Level Partners are ranked according to their level of experience on Odoo. Ready partners are new partners that have a limited number of references. Silver partners have experience deploying Odoo and have a significant number of implementations. Gold partners are amongst the top 15% most active partners in the Odoo eco-system. Only new licenses and upsells (up to 9 months after the subscription starting date) are taken into consideration at the partnership level upgrade. Renovations don’t count. We suggest each partner control the number of licenses sold so as to match with the information your Account Manager have in order to be considered for a Partnership level upgrade. 1.4. Enterprise Licenses for a Partner Your Partnerships doesn’t come with any licenses for internal use. Contact your Account Manager if you’re interested in buying Odoo Enterprise for internal use. You don’t need internal licenses to develop or customize Odoo for your client 1.5. • 13. 13 2.3.2. Github 101 Link: http://product.hubspot.com/blog/git-and-github-tutorial-for-beginners 3. Commissions & Discounts 3.1. Commissions After closing an Odoo Enterprise sale, the Partner is eligible to receive a Commissions, depending on the Partnership Level: ✓ Ready: 10% ✓ Silver: 15% ✓ Gold: 20% 3.1.1. Receiving the Commission The commission can be paid in three ways: ✓ As a discount in the sales order final price ✓ After the sale, by a money order issued by Odoo ✓ Credit to be used in Odoo products (licenses, renovations…) For the money order you’ll have to send a Purchase Order and an invoice to your account manager so he or she can process the request. 3.2. Discounts / Multiyear Contract There are no discounts on Odoo Licenses. However, depending on the number of licenses, your Account Manager can analyze the possibility of giving a discount. To count the number of licenses, you also have to multiply by the number of years. Example: 90 licenses for 2 years is considered 180 licenses for the purpose of analyzing the discount and upgrading partnership level. The Partner can choose to give its commission as a discount to a client. Ask your Account Manager when you want the discount to reflect on the final quotation. 4. Website and Country Visibility The partner can decide whether to list its company on the Odoo official website: https://www.odoo.com/partners. Contact your Account Manager if you need any changes or updates. 4.1. Publishing a reference on the website Contact your Account Manager and provide: - Short Paragraph: about the project (which process and apps used are important) - Logo: of the client’s company.
  • 14. 14 This is one of the requirements to become a GOLD partner See section 19.5 to check how to access the database of all references 4.2. Extra visibility – Generating extra Leads 4.2.1. Visibility in an additional country The partnership fee includes activities in one country. If you want to extend the agreement to different countries, we charge $1,500* / year per extra country Another company will be created in the system to potentially receive leads; however, everything is managed by the main registered company. The new company will also appear in the corresponding country section in Odoo website https://www.odoo.com/partners. Contact your Account Manager to discuss the strategy regarding each company. 4.2.2. Partnership level in extra visibility The sales are summed up to compute the total number of licenses in the last 12 months. When achieved the number to upgrade to the next level, the partner decides in which country to apply the upgrade. Example: 25 licenses in Chile and 80 Licenses in Peru. Total 105 licenses, which qualifies for GOLD (100). The partner chooses where to have the Gold level. Additional 45 licenses would bring the other office to SILVER (totaling 150; 100 for the gold and 50 for silver). 5. Odoo Tour - Marketing Together with Partners Odoo Tours (formerly known as Roadshows) are events organized in a collaborative marketing effort between Odoo and our partnership with the aim to attract quality leads. Those are frequently the events with the best ROI as the majority of Tours generate several closed deals within the following 5 months. The average event attracts between 60 and 150 companies, depending on several factors such as the location of the event and its promotion. More than 80% of the total attendees are decision makers. For More information refer to the Odoo Tour 11 brochure. 6. Communication Strategy with your Account Manager 6.1. Communication by Email Official email: will appear on your profile, in Odoo Website Partnership Section, as the contact of your company. Clients may try to reach your company by this email., This is the email in which you will potentially receive leads from Odoo. Communication email: the email in which your Account Manager will directly communicate with you and send you Announcements. Partner Maillist email: will be used to communicate with all other partners we have, to share information.
  • 15. 15 6.2. Calls and Meetings When you receive an invite from your Account Manager, there will be a link to a google meet access. Alternatively, you can use skype Quick questions can be answered in Skype. Contact your Account Manager to decide the best communication strategy. 7. Managing Leads 7.1. Leads Lead: A potential client who shared contact details when downloading or contacting Odoo. Leads have low visibility for your Account Manager. Lead is the stage before Opportunity. After receiving a lead, the Partner can check the contact information and reach out the client. (See “Your leads” at 2.2.2.) a. Click on the lead to see the contact information b. Contact the lead (email or phone, your strategy)
  • 16. 16 c. If you decided to move forward with that client/project, you have to convert it into an opportunity, by clicking on “I’m Interested” d. You should click on “I’m not interested” and the comment in three cases (it’s important to follow this order, click first and then comment on the box that will appear): i. the client doesn't show interest in Odoo (Delete) ii. you don’t want/have skills for the project. Also, comment if the lead should be reassigned to another partner (Reassign) iii. The client wants Odoo Enterprise but doesn’t need support of a partner (Self Implementation) Comments showed in parenthesis 7.1.1. Sending a Message/Calling a lead Present yourself and your company stating that you are an Official Partner in the country. If you’re sending an email, also provide your contact details and try to schedule a call. Ideally, you would call all leads. 7.1.2. Identifying good leads Look for company names. Generally, it is more effective to reach out to people on those companies by calling them since they don’t usually respond marketing emails. 7.1.3. Converting a lead into an Opportunity: After the conversion, your Account Manager will have visibility of that new opportunity and will make follow-ups to help you with the prospect. 7.2. Opportunities Have high visibility for your Account Manager, are organized in different stages. Territory: 1st stage after converting from a lead. Some clients reach this stage directly without starting as a lead, which means that our algorithms identified it as a potential sale from the beginning. Qualified: stage in which your Account Manager already contacted and qualified the customer.
  • 17. 17 Qualified Sponsor: stage in which your Account Manager has contacted and qualified the customer, and assigned a Partner or in which the Partner contacted and qualified the customer. It means the customer needs customized solution/implementation or any support from a partner. Proposition: A quotation is already generated and sent. Negotiating: Negotiating prices and conditions. Won: Client purchased licenses. Lost: Client did no purchase/is not interested 7.3. Contacting the prospect client (opportunity) Sometimes your Account Manager will directly receive an opportunity, which will also be under the partner's name. The Account Manager will do the first contact with the client, and then pass it to the partner. Wait until this process is complete before contacting the client. If the client does not respond the Account Manager, you can try to contact 7.4. Managing Opportunities Select an opportunity to manage After clicking on an opportunity, you can change stages or other information. 7.4.1 Expected revenue The expected revenue is the monthly (total purchase /12) revenue expected to be generated
  • 18. 18 7.5. Editing Opportunities 7.5.1. Scheduling events, making comments or marking as lost/won Once inside one opportunity, click on “Edit opportunity” and in “Next Activity” select “To Do”. In details write down information about the next event. To mark as “lost”, you can comment “Delete” in “Details Next Activity”. You can add any extra information on details. It would be visible for your Account Manager
  • 19. 19 7.6. Adding an opportunity in the system Adding an opportunity in the system is important so your Account Manager can provide you with support. Also, if the customer reaches Odoo directly, we’ll already know that he or she is working with a particular partner, so we don’t assign another one. Under “My opportunities” click on the (+) sign and input the information of the new opportunity We suggest the following: Title: Name of product - Name of Client - Name of Partner Ex: OE - Andrey Venuto - Odoo Partner Name 7.7. Managing Opportunities and leads in a CRM other than Odoo’s If you use your own CRM or just don’t want to use this system, define a communication/lead conversion strategy with your Account Manager. 8. Making a Sale – Asking for a Quotation All sales will be done in the name of the final client and all invoices will be generated on the client’s name. By default you should always ask your Account Manager when you need a quotation, providing the following information. ✓ Number of licenses (users) ✓ Monthly or Yearly (and number of years) ✓ Applications (which apps) ✓ Name of the final customer and a contact name (with email and phone number) ✓ To whom you want the quote to be sent (partner, customer or both) ✓ If you want the commission to be given as a discount or not
  • 20. 20 The partner/client can estimate directly from the website. 8.1. Generating the quotation directly from the website a. Access www.odoo.com/pricing b. Choose number of users and Applications (some Apps depends on other Apps to work correctly) c. Contract type (Annually / Monthly) d. Hosting Type (Cloud Hosting = SaaS / On-Premise = Enterprise / Dedicated = Odoo.sh). Make sure you select your company as the Integrating partner The cloud version has also the option to be payed monthly. There is no additional cost for the On-Premise but the client needs to have a hosting server. The On-Premise version is more flexible, and it’s suited for projects that needs customizations and developments (or localizations). The dedicated Cloud is the Odoo.sh, only clients who wants to purchase Odoo.sh service directly from Odoo should choose this option. If you, as a Partner, wants to offer Odoo.sh to your client, you’ll have to do it with the intermediation of Odoo. e. Choose your implementation Service f. Click on buy now and continue the process 8.2. Quotation expiration date After a quotation expires, you can check with your Account Manager whether it’s possible to extend the deadline.
  • 21. 21 8.3. Payments We accept: ✓ Credit Card ✓ Wire transfer ✓ Paypal For a wire transfer payment, refer to the bottom of the sales order document (.pdf) for bank details. Communicate with your Account Manager to check whether Odoo received the payment and send the receipt. After the confirmation your Account Manager will start the subscription and generate the invoice. 9. Products and Prices 9.1. Odoo Licenses & Prices We currently have 2 types of software products: 1. Prices for renewing Refer to the legal agreement, section 5.2: https://www.odoo.com/documentation/user/11.0/odoo_enterprise_agreement_v5.pdf
  • 22. 22 9.1.2. Renewing conditions (all apps old model) If you have a contract with the old business model (all apps are included) nothing changes in the renewal process, the client/you keeps the same model. 9.2. Q&A about Odoo Subscription What does the subscription include? You get access to our scalable cloud infrastructure including hosting, incremental daily backups on two continents, email integration, top-notch security, 24/7 monitoring and a control center to manage your Odoo environment. Your Odoo instance is upgraded on demand to benefit from new features at your convenience. You get access to our support by email or live chat in the application. Our support teams are available from Monday to Friday, 24/5, in English and French. How do you define a paying user? A user is defined as an employee or a supplier who has or will have access to Odoo in creating and/or edit mode. External users (such as clients or suppliers who are portal users) are not counted in the number of users. For example: ✓ An employee who reports their expenses or timesheet is counted as a user; ✓ A third party accountant who uses Odoo to work on your numbers will be counted as a user; ✓ Customers and suppliers that have access to their invoices on-line will NOT be counted as users; ✓ Visitors to the Odoo website will NOT be counted as users. For example, eCommerce is dependent on the Website and Sales Apps. In order to activate eCommerce, you will also need to install Sales and Website to inherit their parent functionalities. Can I easily switch from a hosted plan (Odoo Online) to an on-premise plan (Odoo Enterprise) or the other way around? When using Odoo Online, you can download a backup of your database at any time through the control center. You own your data! Our cloud infrastructure runs on the latest version of Odoo with regular upgrades. On-premise users must use the latest stable version of Odoo. If you would like to switch from Odoo Online to Odoo On-Premise, the best time to make this change is immediately following the release of the newest stable version.
  • 23. 23 Odoo also provides a service to help you switch from Odoo On-premise to Odoo Online free of charge if your local database uses the latest stable version. For more details or questions, please feel free to contact us. How do I select the right implementation service Success Pack? Fill in the above form and the page will offer you the best Success Pack according to your needs. According to our experience with preceding projects, we recommend the right business pack so that 80% of our customers can deploy Odoo successfully for the required scope with only one success pack. The most common reasons a customer would buy an extra Success Pack for their initial implementation are data import issues (due to unorganized merge data or abnormally large volume of data to import), unnecessary customizations (resulting in longer lead times), or need additional training for employees prior to completion of implementation. Some customers may also elect to purchase an additional Success Pack after implementation because they want to make their solution evolve over time as the company grows (support hours never expire). Can I use my own domain name for my website? Of course! Our support team is able to guide you during implementation in order to setup your domain using Odoo based on how you plan to manage your emails using the same domain name. What is the price of apps that are not listed on this page? Some Apps in Odoo are offered free of charge such as Survey, Discuss, Notes, Chat, and Employees. Other Apps are bundled with others such as Blog, Forum, Live Chat, and Slides within the Website App and will not appear on this page. I use the stand-alone offer for one free app, what happens when I download another app? As soon as you install an additional app on your database, your account will transition into the Odoo Online pricing. An estimate of your monthly pricing can be generated at www.odoo.com/pricing. 9.3. Official Modules (Apps) Pricing Refer to the website for module prices: https://www.odoo.com/pricing If the module doesn’t appear there, it means it comes together with the purchase of a linked module or is simply free - it comes when purchasing only licenses. 9.4. Database is expiring If you have a contract in progress but you see that the database is expiring earlier than when it should expire, it means the contract have upsells – more users or more apps than originally purchased. To fix that you/the client has to pay for the upsell quotation or delete the extra apps/users. 9.5. Odoo Community vs Odoo Enterprise Refer to https://www.odoo.com/page/editions for the full comparison
