    Guide on what to do in a emergency available to all staff

    Meeting point for emergency out side in studio carpark

    Current assigned Safety Officer Mr Ibin

    Incase of medical emergency inform Supervisor

    Inform Safety Officer of any injuries at work in writing

    Incase of Fire alarm sounding everyone to meet at
    emergency point

    Employees injured at work are to report incident within 24
    hrs

    Ring 000 for Ambulance, Police or Fire
Current Studio Safety Checks on Equipment

    Alchol wipes are issued to staff members to clean
    keyboards and phones at the end of each work day. To
    prevent a build up of bacteria.

    Check Computer System end of each day for any
    operational issues

    Check phones are working at the start of the work day by
    staff members

    Check Printers are well ventilated and paper trays filled

    Check Fire blanket is in reception area each day

    Check Fire Hydrant once a week is operating to safety
    standards this is to be done by the Safety Officer.
Prevent health issues at your
                                            work station

    Avoid a bad back by checking your chair each morning
    before start of work. See that it is at a good height and
    sitting flat on the floor

    Avoid crouching over keyboard this will result in back
    problems

    RSI or Repetitive Strain Injury can be avoided in the arms
    by using the gell wrist pads provided to staff ask if you have
    not received yours.. Inform your Supervisor if you suffer
    from this

    Ensure that you are working in a clean area keep desk
    clean by dusting before work starts, remove any rubbish
    into the bin underneath your desk this is emptied by
    cleaners each evening. This will prevent allergies getting

    The WHS Act places the primary duty of care and various
    other duties and obligations on a

    ‘person conducting a business or undertaking’ (PCBU). The
    meaning of a PCBU is set out in

    section 5 of the WHS Act.

    This is a broad concept used to capture all types of modern
    working arrangements

    Our Studio adheres to this policy and also operates a
    positive and safe work environment for employees

    Employees are reminded that safety first starts with
    themselves in being informed and carrying out work in a
    safe manner
