This document contains a collection of photographs from Barbados from the early to mid 20th century, capturing scenes of daily life, landmarks, and infrastructure from across the island. The photographs depict locations like the Chamberlain Bridge, Pelican Island, Lower Bay Street, Mangrove swamps, beaches, hotels, airports, train stations, and aquatic clubs. In total, over 20 black and white photographs from the 1940s-1970s give a glimpse into what Barbados looked like in the past.
