Open Escalar is a cloud management framework with 3 phases: Amun focuses on IaaS management and basic monitoring; Isis adds PaaS management and event-driven autoscaling; Anubis provides SaaS management and big data analysis. Amun currently supports tasks, roles, workflows, deployments, and resource management across multiple clouds with dependencies on Ruby, Rails, ZeroMQ, RabbitMQ, and Collectd. Future work includes VPN integration, scaling tests, custom triggers, UI improvements, and adding Cloudstack support.
