Editor's Notes

  • #3: Currently Development of education content is incredibly inefficient and moves at glacial pace . In the current system in the US, textbooks are updated only about every 5-7 years. Meaning that even though Pluto was downgraded from a planet to a minor planet in August of 2006 , some students are still being taught with books that reflect incorrect information. This inefficiency is especially pertinent in the fast moving areas of science and technology.

  • #5: Content is developed in a manner that does not reflect the interrelatedness of its topics to topics outside of its field. This makes it difficult for learners to connect the dots and explore content making discoveries on their own.
  • #6: Where all the different topics are connected to and inform each other. And topics don’t exist in a vacuum.
  • #7: iPad, android and other mobile devices It is even available on low-tech feature phones via a mobile web server.
