- #3: Currently Development of education content is incredibly inefficient and moves at glacial pace . In the current system in the US, textbooks are updated only about every 5-7 years. Meaning that even though Pluto was downgraded from a planet to a minor planet in August of 2006 , some students are still being taught with books that reflect incorrect information. This inefficiency is especially pertinent in the fast moving areas of science and technology.
