OpenESB is an open source enterprise service bus (ESB) that is easier to install, configure, use, manage and maintain than other ESBs. After Oracle acquired Sun Microsystems, the OpenESB community continued development. The current status is that version 2.3 was recently released with enhancements to components and fixes. The future roadmap includes additional monitoring tools, service engines, and reducing dependencies on Glassfish and Netbeans.

And what is new in OpenESB V2.3 Paul Perez (Pymma Consulting) is currently doing most of the community Support for Netbeans 6.9.1 organization work in very close cooperation with LogiCoy and Integrated Apps HL7 BC, Encoder Original Openesb dev and users mailing lists active (users@open-esb.java.net), with several posts and responses from IEP SE various users/contributors/vendors. CICS BC The old collabnet site that powered the original source base/project was moved by Oracle but that code base is not actively getting worked on.
