- 1. Alien (1979) Opening title time 0:00-0:07:we are introduced to a blank screen. We then see stars and are introduced to space. It is then know that the plot will take in space. 0:08: A Brandywine- Ronald Shusett Production. 0:11: A Ridley Scott Film. 0:15: A white line appears on the top of the screen in the middle. 0:20: Tom Skerritt name appears on screen. 0:25: A new line appears on the top of the screen on the left. 0:27: Sigourney Weaver’s name appears on screen. 0:30: Another white line appears on screen on the top right. 0:32: Veronica Cartwright’s name appears on screen. 0:40: Harry Dean Stanton’s name appears while a new white line appears at the top of the screen in between the line on the left and in the middle. 0:43: Jon Hurt’s name is shown on screen. 0:47: A new white line appears on screen at the top in between the one on the right and the one in the middle. 0:50: Ian Holm name is shown on screen. 0:56: A new white line appears on screen in the top left corner to make the shape of an A. And Yaphet Kotto as Parker is shown on screen. 1:02: Music by Jerry Goldsmith. Conducted by Lionel Newman. There is also a copyright for 1979 Fox Fanfare Music inc.
