- 2. User must be in MS Active Directory Find User.
- 3. created for Oracle UCM Security. There are many groups. For Example China/USA/Europe Only add all for engineering users.
- 4. Go to Global Objects in the MS Active Directory.
- 5. Go through and double check the IRM group to see if the user is within those sub groups.
- 6. Check the two sub sections of the UCM Active Directory Group.
- 7. Go to the IRM Server to insure the update job is working. IRM Server. Run job.
- 8. This section is the Oracle UCM part. Open the Oracle UCM as admin.
- 11. Go to views.
- 12. Find Users ECN List
- 14. Type in User’s Name
- 15. Congratulations The user is now setup as an ECN user. The user should be able to login to the Oracle UCM without putting in password. Be aware that this security level is for local users only.
Editor's Notes
- #7: Make sure the user is within all these sub group of the Active Directory Global group UCM.
- #10: Change user type to external. If you do not see the user in the list the LDAP job on the IRM server is not working. Or you have not added the correct amount of right to the user from the Active Directory screen.
- #15: The user name must be typed, it does not appear in a drop down list here.
- #16: This product uses Internet Explorer. If you use internet explorer and the screen is distorted look for an icon of a box jaggedly split in half. Click that icon and the IE will use compatibility mode to allow the Oracle product to work.
