This document provides step-by-step instructions for signing up for an account on the OSRx.org website and uploading content. OSRx, sign up and add content!
- 1. Go to www.osrx.org and click the Signup button in the upper right corner.
- 2. Fill out the required content (first name, last name, email address), review the code of conduct and check the box to accept its terms. Next, click Signup, this will send an email to the address you specified.
- 3. Check your inbox! You will receive an email like the one below. Click the link to validate your account and reset your password.
- 4. Clicking the link in the email will bring you to this page. Your email address has now been validated. To proceed to resetting the password click Login
- 5. Create a strong password and then scroll down to upload a picture.
- 6. Click Browse to select a picture from your files. This picture will be used as your profile picture. Click Locale Settings this will cause the Time Zone field to appear. Select your time zone and then click Save.
- 7. Now, you will be able to fill out your profile. Click the Edit Profile tab. This will produce the fields below. Fill out the requested information and scroll down.
- 8. Continue to fill out the profile information, including links to your personal social media accounts, if desired. When finished, click Save
- 9. Now you can return to your dashboard by clicking the Open Situation Room Exchange logo in the top left. To access a space, mouse over the Locations or Situations tab.
- 10. We will now explore uploading content to a Location space. For the example, we will use the Lagos space, but the same procedure applies to uploading content to any space.
- 11. After clicking on the Lagos button, you will be brought to the Lagos space. You should see the view below.
- 12. To upload a file, scroll down below the description of the space and click Docs
- 13. Clicking the Docs button will give you this view. Click the Upload a Document button.
- 14. Enter the title of the file, then locate the file by clicking Browse. Once you have selected a file, clicking Upload. Use the text box below to enter a description of the file.
- 15. Scroll below the text box to associate the document with a Topic, click the Location icon to enter Country, City, State, and Zip Code info. Once you have added all of the desired information, click Save.
