EXO – Dishwash LiquidClient – Jyothy LaboratoriesOne of the first project bagged by Mphinite. Conceptualized, designed, and optimized completely by us. Product introduced in the Indian market in Oct’2006 to an overwhelming response on the SKU, its design and the transparent shrink sleeve which gives an exceptional look, when once filled with liquid.
Trendy Water SipperClient – Kitex Industries Again, one of the first and innovative project handled by Mphinite. Conceptualized, designed, optimized and produced by us. The client is in the business of making bags for school going children. They wanted to do a promotion and this was the idea that we came up with. The cap on top glows in the dark, the mouth piece is made out of soft EVA, completely food grade and even the printing on the bottle is with specialized ink. Over 2 million pieces produced till date.
TANG PET JarClient – Kraft Foods India The brief was to design a container, to attract the consumer at first glance. After the initial brain storming session, it was decided that the container needs to depict the goodness of fruit and the thrill associated with having a cool, healthy drink on a hot summer day. Many concepts for the container were developed trying to depict an orange or a lemon in it and finally came the shape as it exists today. To give it a thirst quencher appeal, a straw was added to the cap, which then completes the overall impression, of what is meant to be conveyed to the consumer.The design in its current form was heavy on weight and thus more expensive. Trial molds were developed to study the container, its points of weakness, top load and other technical issues relating to the blowing of the container. After intensive analysis, ribs and depressions were placed at strategic locations on the jar to overcome the above mentioned difficulties. And thus, the TANG JAR came into being in its current form.
QUAKER OATMEALClient – PepsiCo India Ltd.Mphinite is engaged by Pepsi to put together a design suggesting vitality, agility and good health for its new range of health supplement oatmeal powdered drink. Conceptualized, designed, and optimized completely by us. Worldstar 2008 award winning package
Design Concepts for TATA COFFEE in Glass
RED LABEL TEAClient : Hindustan Unilever LimitedThis project was originally taken up by one other design agency, in an effort to provide the consumer with an air tight jar. Once completed, the jar could not be made commercially viable because of high cost of the cap and the jar which was above Rs.15/- for a 250gm. Tea Jar Pack. We work closely with the packaging development team, brand managers, and the commercial department to give our concepts the GREEN flag from day one on the basis of estimated costs and budgets.

THE P&G VICKS STORY
Vicks Cough DropsClient : P&GThis project was originally taken up by a Product design company. Well, they did a good job and came up with a beautiful design. Once completed, the design, AS USUAL was approved with everyone including the brand and even the CEO. But, when it came to production, the design was not commercially viable because the whole thing referred to INJECTION MOLDING the jar and the cap. The cost would have been about Rs. 45/- for a 200 VCD Jar .We came into the picture, the entire design and packaging team of theirs and ours sat down at our office for 3 days and at the end, we trashed out a design which has now done over 5,000,000 pieces.
For over 3 years, we have been continuously working on reducing cost for the end client, P&G. The cap and the container neck were downsized to save material and thereby save cost.
Cadbury BournvitaProbably, the most recognized brand in India. We partnered with Cadbury to develop the Jar and Cap. Importantly, the fin design for holding the Induction wad in place, was an exclusive development by us and helped to reduce costs for the client. The package speaks for itself; is now produced commercially for over 4 years at Manjushree.

Edible Oil BottleClient : Saurabh Agro Tech Foods Ltd.This project was taken up to convert an age old design into a fresh new look with a complete redesign of the PET bottle, branding and subsequently a re-launch of the product. The Idea was to introduce the new design to bring back consumer acceptability and also to decrease the weight of the bottle from the current 34 gms. To 30 gms. or lesser.
AMAZE – Brain FoodClient : Hindustan Unilever Limited This concept was bought to India from Belgium and Mphinite was engaged to convert this idea into a product keeping in mind Indian conditions and consumers. The entire design was turned around to accommodate the best options with the least cost on capital  Idea was to introduce the new design to bring back consumer acceptability and also to decrease the weight of the bottle from the current 34 gms. To 30 gms. or lesser.
Cadbury ‘lil ChampsClient : Cadbury India Limited Cadbury had an idea for packaging their health supplement, for growing kids. But converting the idea into a sturdy piece of packaging required many separate solutions— making it moldable, providing for sealing, building in stackability & engineering it for sleeving amongst others.  And that is where Mphinite came in.Our product design team tweaked the shape and dimensions for easy molding and incorporated an induction sealing system to run on an automatic filling line. Our tooling experts complemented the team to make the shape stackable. Production specialists ensured that the design was fit for sleeving.  And then, BournVita lil champs pack was born.

ConceptDesigned to be a TABLE TOP Flavoured Tea Sachet holder cum dispenser. The idea was to have it on the table as a permanent branding of the product, thus, slots were made inside to hold spoons, forks and other accessories in it.
DurascoopThe product is such that is can be a SCOOP and a SIEVE. When the RED button is pressed on top, a mesh covers the running open grooves and powdered material can be sieved out.  American Patent Pending. Applied for in Apr ‘2007
