past simple regular verbs

- 2. 1) AFFIRMATIVE We use te verb in its base form, for example PLAY
- 3. Then, we add the suffix -ED
- 4. PLAY + -ED = PLAYED

- 6. 2) NEGATIVE We add the auxiliary DID + negation NOT

- 10. 3) INTERROGATIVE I n this case, we'll put the auxiliary DID at the beginning of the sentence, followed by the subject and then the verb in the base form.
