The author spent the weekend in Broughty Ferry visiting their friend Calum. Some of the activities they did included cycling at Caird Park, going for walks along the beach castle, seeing the lifeboat, and watching rugby. They also went on a zip wire, played hockey in the garden, and had a friend sleepover. Broughty Ferry is located on the river next to Dundee and has a sandy beach and castle where dolphins swim in the summer.

- 3. Cycling…. Calum goes to a cycling club on Saturday morning in Caird Park……it looked like great fun so he let me have a go on his bike….. it was fun!!!!!
- 4. Broughty Ferry Jonty came for a sleepover When we went for a walk, we saw the lifeboat that Calum and Jonty had visited with their class from school
- 5. Sunday morning…….. We watched Jonty playing rugby then went to pick Ruaridh up from a party
- 6. I went down the zip wire…and played hockey Aaahhhh!!!!!!!!
- 7. We played in Calum’s garden!!! I’m going back to school for a rest!!!!
