Paying closer Attention
              Large friendly signage welcomes shopper! Very brightly lit and
              colorful. Clean. Organized. No strong smells. Friendly staff,
              mostly ages 16 to 35. White shirts, black pants. Products
              arranged by function. No samples. Most customers have buddies.
              Mission oriented shoppers. 100% purchasing.

              Sign and well-known logo. Welcoming automatic doors. Red and
              tan color scheme. Store seems full of merchandise. No smell.
              Everything is priced. Impulse items near register. Yes, customers
              touch products. Some browsing, some mission oriented.


              Nice and pretty arrangement. Might be intimidating to some
              shoppers. Most are browsing. Music. High ceiling, elegant feeling.
              Lettering is fancy and makes me think more expensive. Clerks al-
wide aisles   most too helpful.


              Busy. Noisy from people’s hustle and bustle. Greeter but not very
              welcoming. Store aisles are wide but lots of displays seem to crowd
              cart maneuvering. 100% purchasing from other shoppers. Sales-
              people are hard to find among merchandise. First products are
              cookies or chips. Environment influences me to think cheap.

              Not busy. No welcome. Clerk comes from behind merchandise.
              Friendly but distracted clerk. Store is crowded with large rolls of
              carpet. Smells like new carpet, and vinyl. Strong smell. Fairly
              bright light. Sign look industrial to me. Get a feeling of discounted,
              discontinued merchandise.

              Green sign says “save here” to me. Lots of hustle and bustle. Most
              shoppers seem to be on a mission. Some browsing. Most are elderly
              or have young children in tow. Clerks seems busy. Helpful, but
              rushed. Store is very crowded. Customers seem to stay in store
              quite awhile...45 minutes plus. Cheap merchandise.

Paying attention assignment
