The paper investigates the impacts of load and wind speed variations on grid voltage stability connected to induction-type wind electric generators (WEGs). It proposes the use of a Static Var Compensator (SVC) that employs a Thyristor Controlled Reactor (TCR) for automatic voltage regulation through a Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC). The study concludes that while wind power generation benefits active power flow, it can negatively impact voltage stability, underlining the importance of reactive power management.
