I am looking for a team of Software Engineers and Architects to work for a major semiconductor R&D company in the Cambridge area. This is a permanent role. The role of the Software Team is to develop embedded software for the company’s range of Bluetooth chips. This involves coding in ‘C’ and assembler within a resource constrained multi- processor environment as well as making use of scripting languages such as Perl and Python. An engineer will take ownership of certain aspects of a project and will be responsible for delivering the software on a timescale agreed with the project manager. Mentoring will provided from more experienced engineers. Tasks will be well defined and the engineer is expected to work with moderate supervision.
