Personal Reflection



I, as student of English major, should adopt the role of teacher on this professional
practicum, and also know how to apply all the competences that I have acquired
along my progressive practices and classes at the university. Moreover, I expect
the support of my university teachers, who can help me to solve all the problems
that they can find at the moment to evaluate my classes at school and at the same
time prevent and advise me about the most frequent issues at schools, and finally
the school teacher that should be a guide who can help me to know in advance the
students knowledge, abilities and behavior, and also to be part of the schools
community.

In addition, a student who is in this course should be responsible, punctual, and
reflective, know how to control students in different situations, have the ability to
solve problems at any moment, accept all the comments of the school and
university teachers and improve all my weaknesses to be the best teacher,
because this is the main point of this course.

However, there are some aspects that can be more difficult to solve and at the
same time those can make me feel a little bit nervous, for example the behavior of
some students who are not really worry about their work at school and they are
worry about another things, for example talk with their classmates, receive and
send text messages or listen to music, but I as future teacher should know how to
motive them to study and learn. Nevertheless, if I have any issue at school, I know
that my guide teacher can help me to solve it, because of his/her experience and
also I can be in contact with my university teacher to solve issues and support me
to be a good teacher.

Finally, this experience at school should be the best way to learn and exceed my
abilities as a future teacher.
