This document is a treatment for a documentary film called "My Hippies" that would explore the hippie movement through the personal experiences of four subjects who met in San Francisco in 1969. It would include interviews with the subjects, home videos and photographs from the time period, and unreleased psychedelic rock music. The film would be divided into three parts: the subjects' lives before the hippie era, their experiences during the 1960s movement, and their reflections on that time now as they face aging. It aims to provide a personal perspective on who the hippies were, what motivated them, and whether their ideals survived over time.
