- #3: Polysmart Technologies Pvt Ltd. Is a spin off from Jyoti Plastic Works and focused on Engineering Services for plastics. Jyoti Plastics is designing and producing industrial components for last 50 years using top end engineering polymers. Jyoti has divisions for material compounding, tooling and composite products design and manufacturing. What sets Polysmart apart from it’s competitors is that, Polysmart is driven by processes and methodologies. We have clearly defined processes for project estimation, response to RFQ, developed templates for estimating product costs, material selection techniques etc. Polysmart has been regularly appreciated by clients for its professional services and reports providing solutions rather than findings. We maintain strict confidentiality about client data. Each Polysmart associate has a login id to get data only assigned to him. The USB, CD/DVD write is disconnected, only official email system allowed and attachments over 2 MB are disallowed.
- #5: We have independent Project Managers to handle the activities and leading their teams. Project Manager CAD looks after activities comprising of Product Design and Mold design, Moldflow Project Manager handles Moldflow projects and FEA Manager handles FEA related projects. We have SUN workstation with Dual processors and 8 GB Ram speed. We have Moldflow, Unigraphics, Solidworks, Hypermesh and Radioss software. All softwares are under maintenance contract and updated to the latest version. We have Best practices for Product design, Mold design, Moldflow and FEA. Associates follow these best practices to minimize errors and become more productive.
- #17: A large amount of investments are done upfront when a product is conceptualized. Any changes to be made once a product is conceptualized can cost a lot or may even drain up entire investments. We follow the NPD process to ensure that the product passes through all the criteria. We take extra effort to go through the ideation phase and build the business case. We consider the changes in materials, the flexibility of design to incorporate future developments and the flexibility to be one up in competition.
