explore on the different scope of
Educational Technology. It includes
the integration of technology in
education that is the application of
technology to introduce, reinforce,
supplement, and extend skills.

integration of technology as an
instructional tool in the teaching-
learning process. Together with the
Information Technology as its role in
the learning environment.

If the integration of technology talks
about application, the Information
Technology is also the application
of computer, telecommunication,
multimedia and so on. From

Technology.

has lots of benefits or advantages
in the leaning process. It helps the
teacher and the students. But this
technology cannot replace teachers
in the classroom. Do not always
depend in technology because too
much use of it can cause bad
results.

I learn a lot from our
discussion in Educational
Technology 2 which is more on
technology in Education.
I want to say this things.
Honestly, I already learn how to
operate in the computer when I was
3rd year high school and every time
in our hands-on activity in ICT

using mouse and keyboard and I
don’t know what to do.
But time goes by, little by
little practice and now I overcome
this feeling towards computer.
Through this EdTech subject, it was
challenging for me to learn more
and explore on different technology.

As a student aiming to become a
future teacher in 21st Century
someday, this EdTech subject is
very significant.
I learn that technology has a
big influence, big changes, and
more benefits. It gives life to a
colorless environment in school. I
say this things because I become

Through reporting in our school and
almost all of my classmate prepare
different video clips. We watch short
video clips on traditional vs. modern
way of teaching. We compare it and

song about technology, a debate
about traditional vs. modern way of
teaching, role play and many more.

technology, we apply it in different
fields. It is not bad to develop our
skills toward this. But, I learn also
the word “balance”. If technology
brings good to us, it brings also a
negative effects. It depends how
you manage it and control it.
