In this module we will earn what sexual harassment is, with special emphasis on harassment at workplace. You will learn about the types of sexual harassment, consequences of harassment and how to file a complaint against it. At the end of the course you will understand :- •What sexual harassment at workplace is? •Types of sexual harassment? •What you can and should do when you are harassed?

DEFINITIONOF SEXUAL HARASSMENT A form of sex discrimination that involves unwelcomed sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature when: Submission to or rejection of such conduct is made either explicitly or implicitly a term or condition of a person’s job, pay, or career Submission to or rejection of such conduct by a person is used as a basis for career or employment decisions affecting that person Such conduct has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with an individual’s performance or creates an intimidating, hostile Offensive working environment
