This document is a resume for Jessica F. Long. It outlines her education, including expected completion of a DMA in Voice Performance from Shenandoah University in 2016. Her research interests include African-American music, American folk music, and American music. Her research experience involves an examination of Black Louisiana Creole folk songs. She has held various teaching positions and music director roles. Her additional experience includes front desk work at a hotel and banking. She is currently president of the Shenandoah University chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
