- 3. Prepare the data To bulk import contacts the 1st step is to prepare the data.* (CSV File) 1. The only critical / required field is the email address field. Other fields are optional. G onwards are custom fields. 2. The status field can be one of 4 options as shown. If left blank, the current status will be left unchanged.

- 6. Chose File 1. Click on chose file, 2. Chose the CSV file you previously prepared, 3. Click next.
- 7. Check Contacts • Here you will see a sample / preview of the 1st few rows to double check. • Click Next
- 8. Add / Remove Tags as necessary • At this stage you can chose which tags to apply. • 1,2,3, Here you can keep the default or change the tags to suit your specific requirements. • 4, Click next
- 9. Summary 1. The summary window shows the details of the contacts for review, 2. Click Import Contacts
- 10. Check Progress • The import file is now in process. • At the far top right hand corner or the screen clock on the settings cogwheel • Go system settings, the historical imports window will open.
- 11. Historical imports. • Here you can see the progress of the import. • You will receive an email when the import is complete.
- 12. Check at address book • Back at address book you will see that the status of the customer is clearly displayed in the status column .
