Supplies:
• 3 Ring binder
• Pencils
• Loose leaf paper
• Pencil sharpener
• 4 Function calculator
• Kleenex
• Clorox/Lysol wipes
Grading Scale:
•90-100 A
•80-89 B
•70-79 C
•60-69 D
•50 and below F
Objectives:
Students will work individually as well as collectively. Students will
exhibit prior knowledge of particular subject matter as it relates to
specific items. Students will use proper vocabulary to demonstrate
knowledge and appropriate skill level. Student will make sense of
problems and persevere in solving them. Students will justify their
answers effectively and communicate them to others. Students will
explain the meaning of a problem and restated it in their own
words.
Entering The Classroom:
• Please wait until the
previous class exited.
• Sharpen pencils.
• Report to your assign
seats.
• Bell ringer.
Bell Ringer:
Bell ringers are to be started on
upon entering the classroom. Do
not wait on the teacher to tell
you to start. You only have five
minutes to complete. (The five
minutes starts when you enter
the class, not when the
teacher enters the room.)
Tardies:
Tardy is when you are
not in your seat when
the tardy bell rings.
Three tardies equal
one absentee.
Assignment:
Assignment should be properly labeled which the following
information in the upper right hand corner:
• First and last name
• Teacher’s name
• Course title
• Period and date
Make Up Work:
If you miss an assignment or test due to an absent, it is your
responsibility to submitted it as soon as possible. If you miss a test,
you have one week to make it up after school or during elective
class. If you miss an assignment, you have the same number of days
you missed to submit the assignment. If your work is not turned in
within the specified time, you will receive a “ZERO.”
Classroom Rules:
• No tardies.
• Come to class prepared.
• No gum chewing.
• Raise your hand to be recognize.
• Don’t get out your seat without
permission.
• Keep your hands, feet, and other
objects to yourself.
• Listen when others are talking. (be
respectful)
• BULLYING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!
Consequences:
EVERY ACTION
HAS A
CONSEQUENCE!
• First offense-Verbal warning.
• Second offence-Teacher
student conference.
• Third offence-Detention.
• Fourth offense-Parent
contact. (phone call)
• Fifth offence-Parent/teacher
conference.
