This document summarizes the findings of the 2017 Shell Creek Watershed Research Group. It provides water quality index (WQI) data from tests conducted at 6 sites along Shell Creek between May and August 2017. The tests measured parameters like dissolved oxygen, bacteria, nutrients, temperature and flow. WQI scores showed most sites had good water quality. Comparisons to previous years found lower bacteria and nitrate levels and higher WQI scores overall. Macroinvertebrate samples indicated the creek's health. Drone photos documented the creek and research sites. The group thanked supporting organizations for their assistance.
