- 2. A LITTLE history • Since I was a kid I have always been active and sportive. Through the years I started to perform more and more sports in my leisure time as well as during school time. • At school I played basketball, cross-country and football, whereas in my free time I did horse riding competitions and I played in a basketball team for 7 years in Belgium.
- 3. A LITTLE history • When I moved to Portugal I started a new chapter in my life in a new country with a new economic environment and new sports. Soon I adopted to the life style in Portugal I began to practice surfing, bodybuilding and snowboarding throughout the winter. • I believe that the major change of environment in my childhood has definitely changed who I am today and for that I am thankful.

Technology and computers • Technology and computers never stopped triggering me. • I have always been interested in all aspects of a computer and how modern technology affect society and education. In my studies I use computers everyday to make summaries, presentations, word processor documents as during ICT lessons we create spreadsheets and database systems. • In my leisure time and summer jobs I use my computer as a DJ and mix music as a hobby.

Putting myself to practice • Following my passion for technology I decided in my summer of 2013 to find myself an internship as my school did not provide any. • Going to a career event, I got to meet the owners of an authorised apple service center who offered me a two week internship with them. Which was a wonderful experience as I got to observe the work of real Apple experts and gradually was allowed to deal with customer problems as in my final week I would visit customers at home to help them with any queries they might have about any apple products. • Next to the dealing with customers I was also asked to write up a report about Newteq on a business point of view which was very interesting as this allowed me to put my business studies to real practice.

My circle • Friends are one of the most important aspects in my life, as good friends will always be there for you and help you out when u need them to. • Friends are good to relax outside your studies but they can also be very helpful inside school, as my friends and I can give and take from one other. On friend could help me with a math's question while I could help him on a business essay. • I have made a gigantic amount of friends in Portugal, from friends in my school to people I meet on a night out. I love to talk with many different people from many different countries and if I can I will communicate with them in their own language. And I’m a bit of a party animal.
- 8. My family • Towards my parents I have the most respect for everything they have done for me and everything they are about to do in the future. I will miss helping my sister with homework and other problems or questions she might have about anything at all.
