PLOT or STORYLINE
 Plot is a narrative (and, traditionally, literary)
term defined as the events that make up a
story, particularly: as they relate to one
another in a pattern or in a sequence; as
they relate to each other through cause and
effect; how the reader views the story; or
simply by coincidence.
 In my own words:
 Plot is where the story revolves and how it
flows.
 Example is that a plot has a climax, rising
actions and denouement.

MY OWN PLOT

1c
Exposition: Rr is
very fond in
playing ps3.
Rising action: he
searched the
internet for a price
of it.
Therefore beyond
seeing the ps3 he
buy it immediately
Upon much
excitement he grab
it and played it
Rr now enjoyed
playing it for his
desires.
RISING ACTION
 Short definition:
This escalation leads to the climax, the part of the
plot where it will ultimately be determined
whether the hero will overcome all the conflict
from the rising action or fail to overcome the
conflict and face defeat
 study.com/academy/.../rising-action-in-a-story-
definition-examples-quiz.ht...
 In my own words:
It is where the character faces the consequences
of his actions and may change it.
 My example:
Ps3 was bought to the store.
2
TURNING POINT
 Short definition:
a time when an important change happens
 http://www.merriam-
webster.com/dictionary/turning%20point
 In my own words:
It is where an important thing happen and
change.
 My example:
When Rr bought the ps3 he is overcome with joy.
3
CLIMAX
 Short definition:
the most exciting and important part of a story,
play, or movie that occurs usually at or near the
end
 http://www.merriam-
webster.com/dictionary/climax
 In my own words:
It is where the main part of the story happen.
 My example:
Finally Rr has given a new set of Ps3 to be played
with.
4
FALLING ACTION
 Short definition:
Falling action is defined as the parts of a story
after the climax and before the very end. An
example of falling action is act four in a five-act
play.
 In my own words:
This is the part where a story ends and gives a hint
to another story.
 My example:
When Rr bought the ps3 he immediately returned
home.
5
RESOLUTION
 Short definition:
Resolution is the part of the story's plot line in
which the problem of the story is resolved or
worked out. This occurs after the falling action
and is typically where the story ends.
ms/g/resolution.htm
 In my own words:
This is where a problem was finally answered and
solved.
 My example:
When Rr has received his Ps3 he exclaimed with
joy.

New concepts learned
 What I learned in this slides are the stories
flows. How does it go in a story what is the
part that is the most exiting and worth
waiting to. How will it be solved later on and
what well will it do to the story.
NEW INPUTS
1
This reminds me of…
 This reminds me of my first time watching
a movie, I forgot the movie but it is so
complicated to see the climax, resolution
and falling actions. I did not understand
how the story flow back then.
CONNECTIONS
2
Usefulness in real situations
 This could be useful in certain situations
like how will I asked myself how does a
story flow and where it will begin what is
the most awaited part of all and what
end will it bring.
