This is a good ratio as it isn’t just about music and the listeners can communicate with the show. BRANDING I heard the jingle 5 times in an hour. This was a short jingle in which is stated the name of the radio station and the name of the presenter.
- 2. CONTENT The content such as the music was chose to please their target audience plus the talking part was funny which was set to make people laugh. WAS IT SUITABLE FOR THE TARGET AUDIENCE? Yes, it included he right style of music and gave of the right vibes when it was just the host and the guests talking. PRESENTERS STYLE The presenter was Scott Mills and he has a good personality, he knows his guests really well so it made the communication flow well and was appealing to listen too. They also did a game on the show which took up some talk time and this was helped by the viewers submitting questions etc. This gives a good connection between the listener and the show as a whole. VOCAL DELIEVERY The vocal delivery was conversational where the presenter was comfortable with the people he was with and he was still able to communicate with them and too the listeners. During the show there was a news article where the person speaking was fairly mono-tone and that was aimed to be more informative than trying to be entertaining.

- 4. WHY I CHOSE THESE PLAYLISTS Format 1 - I have chosen to do classic rock for my first format. This is one of my favourite genres and I fell as though there is a large target audience for this type of music. I will primarily do classic rock and no include any modern music. Format 2 - I have chosen to do country music, I am not the biggest fan of country music but the reason I chose to do this was because it is alternative to many different genres. The audience for this type of music will be rather small so I will stick to quite popular county songs.

I included songs in which I listened to when I was younger which still great cool songs are. All the songs are upbeat and send a positive
- 6. message. I only included popular songs because that’s what children listen too. Audience 2 – Korean pop was my second choice for target audience. I personally don’t listen to Korean pop music but I am aware it is very popular with all different cultures. This means there will be a wide audience for the radio show if they want to listen to Korean music.

So to avoid causing disturbance I will use happy music to try and keep every ones moods up when they may be very upset. I have to avoid using songs which may refer to reason of why people may be in hospital so avoid songs which include death, suicide etc. Context 2 – Christmas music will be played at one time of the year which is obviously Christmas time. These songs all relate to Christmas and pretty much everyone knows about them. They will be played in a shopping centre and in between songs there can be adverts for deals on products sold within the shops.
