A student enters her teacher's classroom with an essay for him. The teacher is asleep at his desk. When the student wakes him, he shouts that he is not an alcoholic. Though the student hands him the essay happily, the teacher takes it without interest and tosses it in the bin, saying he didn't want it anyway.

Preliminary Task Film - Script and Story board.
- 1. Teacher (Student walks down a corridor and comes to a door. She opens the door and walks inside. She has pieces of paper in her hand. She closes the door behind her and walks over to a desk. Teacher is sat behind a desk and is asleep. The student taps the teacher on the leg, he wakes up abruptly.) Teacher: I’m not an alcoholic! (he shouts this as he wakes up). Student: I’ve got the essay you wanted (she hands him the pieces of paper, happy with herself). Teacher: Just put it over there. (He says it in a dull tone) (She puts the paper on the desk and starts to walk away.) Student: Right, thanks sir (she walk away). (Teacher picks up the paper and throws it in the bin.) (Close up of the Bin) Teacher: I didn’t want it anyway. Here is the script for our preliminary task for media. (Our group consisted of Thomas Wright, Bronte Keefe, Emily Mason and Me)
