Stanley was sent to Camp Green Lake for stealing shoes. The class studied both the book Holes and the movie to compare them. While the book provided more details, it lacked pictures to help visualize the story, unlike the movie. The book described Stanley as chubby but he appeared skinnier in the film adaptation.

- 1. We have been studying the book holes by Louis Sachar and also we have watched the movie so we can find the similarities and differences. The book is about a boy called Stanley who was sent to a place called Camp Green Lake for stealing a pair of famous sneakers (shoes).
- 2. There are a few differences like in the book Stanley was described as a quiet chubby person but in the movie you can see that he is skinnier than most people would have imagined if they read the book first.
- 3. The thing that I liked about the book was that it was extended a lot more than the movie. The thing I didn't really like about the book was that there wasn't any pictures in the book that could help any person to understand what is happening in the book.
