Το Χαμόγελο του παιδιού είναι εθελοντικός, μη κερδοσκοπικός οργανισμός που λειτουργεί στην Ελλάδα , με στόχο την προάσπιση των δικαιωμάτων των παιδιών και την αντιμετώπιση καθημερινών προβλημάτων τους. The Smile of the child is voluntary, nonprofit organization that works in Greece, in order to protect the rights of children and address their everyday problems.
- 3. «Το Χαμόγελο του Παιδιού» ιδρύθηκε το 1995 από τον 10χρονο Ανδρέα Γιαννόπουλο, ο οποίος λίγο πριν φύγει από τη ζωή εξέφρασε στο ημερολόγιό του την επιθυμία να δημιουργηθεί ένας σύλλογος για να έχουν όλα τα παιδιά όσα ο ίδιος είχε απλόχερα: αγάπη, στοργή, ενδιαφέρον, σεβασμό. Το όνειρο του 10χρονου Ανδρέα έγινε πραγματικότητα και σήμερα ο Οργανισμός «Το Χαμόγελο του Παιδιού», έχοντας αναγνωριστεί διεθνώς, με όραμα: το Χαμόγελο κάθε παιδιού, υλοποιεί πανελλαδικά, 365 ημέρες το χρόνο, 24 ώρες την ημέρα, αποτελεσματικές και άμεσες δράσεις για την πρόληψη και αντιμετώπιση συγκεκριμένων φαινομένων που απειλούν τα παιδιά. "The Smile of the Child" was founded in 1995 by 10 year old Andreas Giannopoulos, who shortly before his departure from life expressed in his diary the desire to create a club to have all those children he had generously: love, affection, interest , respectfully. The dream of 10 year old Andrew became a reality and today the organization "The Smile of the Child", having internationally recognized, with vision: the smile of every child, implemented nationwide, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, effective and immediate actions to prevent and address specific phenomena that threaten children.
- 4. Μέχρι σήμερα «Το Χαμόγελο του Παιδιού» έχει στηρίξει περισσότερα από 1.200.000 παιδιά και τις οικογένειές τους. Παιδιά θύματα κάθε μορφής Βίας, Παιδιά θύματα Εξαφάνισης, Παιδιά με προβλήματα Υγείας, Παιδιά που βρίσκονται ή απειλούνται να βρεθούν σε κατάσταση φτώχειας, έχουν βρει λύση. So far "The Smile of the Child" has supported more than 1.2 million children and their families. - 5. Ο οργανισμός έχει να επιδείξει πλήθος δράσεων σε ένα ευρύ φάσμα δραστηριοτήτων. Βασισμένος στη δύναμη των εθελοντών του, καλύπτει βασικές και συνεχιζόμενες ανάγκες τόσο των παιδιών αλλά και των οικογενειών τους που χρήζουν βοήθειας. Πιο συγκεκριμένα το χαμόγελο του παιδιού δραστηριοποιείται: φροντίζοντας παιδιά σε νοσοκομεία, προσφέροντας δημιουργική απασχόληση στα νοσοκομεία Παίδων, διατηρώντας κέντρα στήριξης παιδιού και οικογένειας, λειτουργώντας εθελοντικό δημιουργικό εργαστήριο, διοργανώνοντας παζάρια και εκθέσεις, - The agency also has numerous actions in a wide range of activities.
