- #2: EVER WONDERED? Way to teach the generations of tomorrow. SAME PROFESSORS, SAME QUESTIONS IMAGINE MY EXCITEMENT. AIM NEVER TO BE THE SAME TOMORROW AS IT WAS YESTERDAY HISTORY HAS TAUGHT THE ONES WILLING TO LISTEN - CHANGE HAPPENS NEED - EDUCATE FOR TOMORROW. I’LL TALK ABOUT JUST THIS. Have you ever wondered whether education as we know it is really the best way to teach the generations of tomorrow? The same professors teaching the same things year after year to rows of students with straight back and their hands raised to answer questions hundred, or maybe thousands of students before them have already answered. I have wondered. And imagine my excitement when I discovered that an education actually already existed that doesn’t accept that the status quo is the only way to go. An education if fact that vows never to be the same tomorrow as it was yesterday. And why not? Because history has taught the ones of us willing to listen - with the financial crisis as the most recent example - that it is impossible for us to know what the world will look like tomorrow. There’s only one thing we can be truly certain of; That the world will be different. It will change. Ask your parents if they ever thought they’d live to see a black president. Or ask your grand parents if they ever thought they’d live to see a man on the moon. So what we need isn’t people that are educated for the world as it looks right now - but people that are educated for a future that no-one yet knows what will be like. Now that’s a real challenge, and in the next 45 minutes or so, I’ll do my best to show you how a school in Denmark, called the KaosPilots, has tried to do just that.
