In 2014, Firetide was acquired by UNICOM Systems, a division of UNICOM Global, to strengthen UNICOM's wireless networking portfolio. Firetide develops unique mesh routing protocol and distributed Ethernet architecture technologies to enable seamless multi-hop mesh connectivity and infrastructure mobility.
