IDEALISM
It is an ancient school of thought.
It focus on God sprits and mind.
The word idealism is taken from idea.
According to idealists ideas are fixed
and permanent.
SOCRATE
He was Greek philosopher.
He is the founder of idealism.
He was teacher of Plato.

PLATO
He was German philosopher.
He work a lot on idealism
HEGAL
He was German philosopher.




FORBEL
Most idealistic philosopher of
education.
Ultimate existing element is sprit in nature. Soul is real
  not body and abstract things are real not concrete.
  Idealism believed on following to things:
1. Microcosm.
2. Macrocosm.

EPESTEMELOGYOF IDEALISM
Knowledge is present in un conscious…
we learn through our senses.

AXIOLOGY OF IDEALISM
Values are fixed permanent and not changeable because
   they are made by God.
 KNOWLEDGE:
  Concern with spiritual principals that are based on
 reality. The knowledge of reality take the form of ideas.
 SCHOOL:
 school is an institute
 where students seek truth.
 STUDENTS:
  Students are also human being and has a mind, that’s
 why they are supreme creature of God. The have soul
 and ideas in their conscious. Students should be
 obedient and regular . They should consider teacher as
 scholar, role model because they help to bring out our
 ideas in to our conscious.
Curriculum is teacher centered.
 SUBJECTS:
   Most important subjects are theology and philosophy,
  mathematics, literature, history physical science and natural
  science.

TEACHING METHODS OF IDEALISM
 Answer questioning, lecture method, role play, discussion
 method.
AIM OF EDUCATION

Development of human personality
and self realization.
 According to him aim of education is:
 Physical health.
 Economic freedom.
 Knowledge.
 Appreciation.
 Character building.
 Worship of God.
Idealism is one of ancient school of thought. It focus on
God, spirits and mind. According to idealism values are
fixed, permanent and not changeable, knowledge is
present in unconscious there is need to bring it
conscious and teacher help to bring ideas in to
conscious. In school students seek truth, curriculum is
teacher centered. Aim of education is development of
personality and self realization.
