Bullying victims are often isolated, teased physically or emotionally, and have low self-esteem. Bullies target those seen as physically weaker with few friends. Bullies act out of a sense of power, past bullying experiences, aggression, and ease of getting away with it. Victims of bullying may lose interest in school, have health and mood issues, and low self-esteem. Bullies are more likely to engage in criminal behaviors later in life. Anyone experiencing bullying should seek help.
