LucasArts, founded in May 1982 as a branch of Lucasfilm Limited, is a video game development company known for creating games based on Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Its first game was 'Ballblazer' in 1984, and the company has released more than 125 games, employing around 350 people. George Lucas was the chairman while Darrell Rodriguez served as president, and in 2001, Lucasfilm reported $1,500 million in sales.
