Rajkot is facing a severe water crisis as water levels are dropping in reservoirs supplying the city. The city requires 1,165 million liters per day but Narmada canal only supplies 50 million liters. Three other reservoirs - Nyari-3, Aji-1 and Nyari-1 - that supply water to the city now only have a few months of water left. Unless there are good rains in the next week, the city will face severe water shortages for the entire year.
